FAQs
Frequently asked questions
+ Do delegates need a visa for Zimbabwe?
Most markets qualify for visa-on-arrival or e-visa. Category A nationals require no visa. The Convention Bureau issues group facilitation letters for accredited delegates and can arrange clearance ahead of arrival.
+ What is the KAZA UniVisa?
The KAZA UniVisa allows travel between Zimbabwe and Zambia, including day trips to Botswana via Kazungula — ideal for Victoria Falls programmes crossing both sides of the Falls.
+ How do we bring exhibition equipment into the country?
Temporary import permits allow duty-free entry for equipment that will be re-exported. We connect organisers with clearing agents and, for Bulawayo, on-site customs at the exhibition grounds.
+ What currency and payment methods apply?
The US dollar is widely used in the tourism and hospitality sector alongside the local currency. Major cards are accepted at graded hotels and conference venues.
+ What health precautions should delegates take?
Malaria prophylaxis is advised for low-lying areas including Victoria Falls, Hwange, Kariba and Mana Pools. Private hospitals and air evacuation cover are available in all host cities.
